I have watched this show last Thursday. A nice movie, funny and engaging. But if you have not watched the first part of the movie, you may find yourself lost in some parts this movie. The movie is 2.5 hours long but you don't find it draggy or too long for it.
The main character, Jack Sparrow, is funny. He is one kind of man who will always try to talk himself out of situation. Ha this quote "Why fight when you can negotiate" sums it up. Lol, apart from that he is also showing us the typical ren2 bu4 wei4 ji3 tian1 zhu1 di4 mei4 personality. Well, we can find this persona in every human being but his is really an exaggerated form. He made use of all kind of opportunities and loopholes, just to turn things into his favour. He kabra quite a bit, thinking that he can turn the situation around, the opportunist instead find himself in a newer and more dangerous position. His plan backfires quite a lot lol.
Near the last scene, Jack Sparrow was betrayed by his "crush" as by doing that she can save herself as well as the crews of the black pearl ship. His last words to her, "I have told you, one day, you will become like me. A pirate." Well, I think everyone of us has this pirate syndrome. People are always selfish and greedy in one way or another. You just have to be in the correct situation, this pirate behaviour will just show up. I guess this is our natural defence machanism that has been given to us right from birth. In short, it is just our survival instinct. Life is full of intrigue and in order to survive in the society, you will have to be part of it. It will become more obvious when you are beginning your climb up the social ladder.
